Privacy Policy — Splendid Torch
Effective date: June 11, 2026
Splendid Torch is operated by Jamieson Gower LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you visit splendidtor.ch or contact us, why, and what you can do about it. We've kept it plain on purpose.
1. Who we are. Jamieson Gower LLC ("Splendid Torch," "we," "us"), a U.S. company based in New York. Questions or requests: hello@splendidtor.ch.
2. What we collect.
When you fill out our "Start a Conversation" form: your name, email, role/title, company name, company size, where you are with AI, why you're reaching out, and anything else you choose to tell us.
When you register for one of our events (through Luma): your name, email, and any details the registration asks for.
If you subscribe to Notes (our newsletter): your email address, managed through Substack.
Automatically when you visit: basic technical data needed to run and secure the site, and — only if you accept analytics cookies — information about how the site is used (see Cookies).
3. Why we collect it. To respond to your inquiry and figure out whether we're a fit; to manage event registrations and keep you posted on events you sign up for; to follow up about our work and track you as a potential client; to send Notes if you asked for them; to understand how the site is used; to keep the site secure; and to meet legal obligations. For visitors in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, our legal bases are our legitimate interest in responding to and managing inquiries and events, your consent (for the newsletter and for analytics cookies), and legal obligation where it applies.
4. Who we share it with. We don't sell your data. We use a small set of trusted providers that handle it on our behalf:
Squarespace — hosts the site, processes form submissions, and provides our visitor analytics.
Google Workspace — your form submission is emailed to us.
Luma — manages event registrations.
HubSpot and/or Monday.com — to track and manage contacts, inquiries, and event registrations.
Substack — newsletter management.
5. International transfers. We're in the U.S., and some providers process data here. Where required, transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it. Inquiry, contact, and event data: as long as we reasonably need it to respond and explore working together, plus a reasonable period for our records. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data anytime.
7. Your rights. Depending on where you live, you can access, correct, delete, or export your data, object to or limit certain uses, and withdraw consent (for example, by unsubscribing or declining cookies). Email hello@splendidtor.ch to exercise any of these; we may verify your identity first. EEA/UK residents may also complain to their local data protection authority.
8. Security. We use HTTPS, access controls, and reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
9. Cookies. We use the cookies necessary to run the site, plus analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use it. You can accept or decline the analytics cookies through our cookie banner, and they won't load unless you allow them. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
10. Children. This is a site for businesses and isn't directed at children; we don't knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes. We may update this policy; the effective date above always reflects the current version.
12. Contact. hello@splendidtor.ch · Jamieson Gower LLC · mailing address available on request.
